1. New England @ Indianapolis- I'm taking the Colts, a healthy Marvin Harrison coming off two weeks of rest gives me plenty of hopes this overrated Patriots team can/will come crumbling down.
2. Baltimore @ Pittsburgh- Gotta go with the Steel Curtain on this one, sorry Ravens fans, but maybe if I had some idea of who was the starting QB this week I'd give you a chance.
3. Dallas @ Philadelphia- Believe it or not the Eagles will be flying high after this one. Eagles have won 7 straight at home against the 'Boys, the TO factor always plays big, and it's hard not to imagine that some of these Cowboys are thinking a week ahead to their big game with the Giants.
4. Carolina @ Tennessee- Tennesse is flying under the radar at 5-2, dare I say that the Titans could be fighting for a playoff spot? Expect Vince Young, Lendale White and a rejuvenated Titans offense to pound the Panthers.
5. Arizona @ Tampa Bay- Flip a coin, heads Tampa Bay tails Arizona. I'll take Tampa Bay but they're safer to bet on, and Arizona just can't seem to put together a winning season...ever.
6. JMU @ Delaware- JMU, the Dukes are disgusted with their performance last week and are ready for a tough game against the 2nd ranked offense of the Delaware Blue Hens. 22,000 fans in Delaware will cause an unwelcoming environment so we will see.
7. #4 Arizona State @ #5 Oregon- Oregon, Oregon, Oregon. ASU is undefeated but right now no team is hotter than the Oregon Ducks. At home, against a Pac-10 rival this one will be the college game of the week hands down.
8. #3 LSU @ #17 Alabama- There's the whole SEC rivalry matchup but LSU will come out on top They're just going to be too much for 'Bama to handle.
9. #24 Wake Forest @ #23 Virginia- UVA, the Cavaliers pulled out three wins by three points or less before falling last week to NC State last week. They've got a tough bunch of players who are used to grinding it out for 4 quarters.
10. #21 Wisconsin @ #1 Ohio State- It's hard to imagine the #1 team in the country being underrated but I think that the Buckeyes have what it takes to hang with some of the bigger teams in the land this year...no repeat of last years National Championship game.
Those are my picks of the week. For more in-depth analysis check out So You Think You Know Sports? on WXJM- 88.7 fm Harrisonburg Tuesday Nights from 8-9. You can listen online at www.orgs.jmu.edu/wxjm
